Autistic Spectrum Disorders - How can we help you?

Adult Social Care provides help to those who most need it.  If the team cannot help you, they will put you in touch with people who can help you.

Following an assessment, if you are eligible Adult Social Care staff will work with you to help you to be as independent as possible.

• They will work out how much money you need to manage at home and to get the support that you need. This is called an Individual Budget. 
• They will help you to develop a Support Plan using this money. 
• They can also help you in a practical way to do the following:

1. help with money and benefits to cover what you need 
2. help you to say what you think about your needs and the help that you get
3. get help with medical advice and treatment for your health and 
4. get help with finding work, social or leisure activities.
