Adult Placement

Adult placement is a new flexible service providing care to older people and adults with learning difficulties, physical disabilities or mental health problems.  This care is provided in the homes of adult placement carers and can be on a short or long term basis.

Vouchers

A new voucher scheme has been launched in Cumbria.  Through the scheme, carers who are assessed as needing breaks can arrange their own services directly with providers.  They then pay for the care using vouchers.
