You will have the right to be informed in writing as to whether the we hold the information you've requested and to have that information supplied within 20 working days subject to some exemptions.
We aim to open with our information and you may be able to find the information you need elsewhere on this website, in our electronic library or in the council's publication scheme.
Keeping service users informed
Service users are people who are receiving services from us.
We will give people who are new to our services an information pack which will include a service user guide and a statement of purpose. The statement of purpose is required as part of registration with the Commission for Social Care Inspection.
We will also keep everyone receiving services informed of changes to their services. For example, if new home carers will be visiting you or if there are changes to the care in your residential home or day centre.
