Because of the personal nature of our work, it is important that our relationships with service users are polite, friendly and professional.

Our staff will introduce themselves to you the first time they meet you and will show you their identity card.  They will use your full name, like 'Mrs Brown' or 'Mr Smith' and will ask you what you like to be called. 

Our staff will be polite and friendly but not too familiar.  We are aware that some people do not like staff to be over familiar.  Our staff will not discuss their personal details with you and will not give you their telephone number or invite you into their home.

If you feel uncomfortable with the way any of our staff treat you, please let them, or their supervisor know.
