What is a day service?
Cumbria Care provides a high quality day service for older people throughout the county. Day services are based in the community in:
- four major day centres and
- a number of small local day centres.
Day services enable older adults to meet and socialise. They offer a safe, caring and reliable day care service to all service users with due regard to their race, gender and religion. The service is delivered by care staff who have the appropriate skills and competencies to meet the assessed needs of the service users.
