Staff recruitment and training

We have a thorough recruitment, induction and training programme for our staff to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to provide caring and professional services to our customers.  These include:

• a detailed equal opportunities recruitment procedure which includes checks of Criminal Records Bureau and Protection of Vulnerable Adults records;
• thorough induction of staff before they start hands on work; and
• ongoing training supported by regular supervision and appraisal to ensure they continue to develop their skills.
