Attending recruitment events and careers fairs are a great opportunity for us to meet those who are interested in social care careers. We are also able to offer advice for those who are already qualified looking to relocate to Cumbria.
Cumbria's Largest Careers Fair!
Adult Social Care hosted the first ever Social Care Careers Fair at Rheged on Saturday 3rd March.
Exhibitors included Adult Social Care, Children’s Services and organisations from the independent and voluntary sector.
We have over 400 visitors and it proved to be an exhausting day for everyone involved! The stalls were very busy all day and many application packs were given out.
Jill Stannard, Director of Adult Social Care opened the event and the seminar programme was well received in the afternoon.
Feedback from visitors was very positive.
