There are a variety of programmes available in the UK. You will need to study and qualify from a pre-registration programme in occupational therapy.
You can choose to study the BSc (Hons) in Occupation Therapy either:
- 3 or 4 year full-time programme
- 4 year part-time programme (you will require the support of your employer to apply for a in-service training programme)
- 2 year accelerated programme if you have a first degree
Postgraduate programmes are available for those for have completed a degree in a related field and have some experience in working in the field of social care. These programmes are usually over 2 years and may award:
- Graduate Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- MSc Occupational Therapy
- MSc Health through Occupation
