Occupational Therapists work with a range of people including those who have physical, mental and or social problems. These problems can arise either from birth, as the result of an accident or can they can be the effects of changing circumstances.

An Occupational Therapist role will be to design a treatment programme based on the individuals needs, sometimes modifying the environment surrounding the person. A key part of the OT’s role is to enhance a person’s ability to participate in everyday activities.
