In line with the Framework Agreements, the Carlisle Joint Health and Social Services Management Team (Carlisle JMT) was formed, consisting of managers from all sectors of Health, Adult Social Care and Age Concern (Carlisle and District). The JMT funded a 12-month post of ‘Integrated Team Project Manager’ for Carlisle and Longtown in order to:
- develop a patient centred integrated team and
- enhance effective working between statutory and non-statutory agencies through working with the District.
Beginning his post in February 2005, the Integrated Team Project Manager led several multi-agency workshops, established the foundations of a joint practitioners group produced an end of project report in 2006.
