Cumbria Mental Health Programme Board meeting on 19 April 2007
The Mental Health Programme Board exists to improve joint working of mental health services between CPT and Cumbria County Council.
The second meeting of the Board took place on Thursday 19th April and agreed the following:
The work of the board should be accessible to everyone who is interested from either organisation. A summary paragraph of information from the meetings will be circulated. Minutes will be shared via the intranet sites in both organisations – see link below.
It would be helpful to the Board to have further clinical representation and involvement, and an invitation for more clinical staff to become involved with the work will be made.
The Programme Board recognises there are many frustrations with the differences between policies and processes. A policy sub-group has been established to work through a process of providing more clarity, making sure that staff in the integrated services have good guidance to follow and that the arrangements work well for the two agencies.
