Care Careers Fair 2008
A second hugely successful care careers fair was held at Rheged on 1st March. The event which was organised by the County Council and supported by CSAC was attended by over 400 people. 13 CSAC employer members had stands and were able to tell potential staff about their organisations. Feedback has been very positive and some organisations have interviewed and recruited new staff members from the individuals that attended.

Care Fair 2007
Cumbria County Council hosted the first ever Social Care Careers Fair at Rheged on Saturday 3rd March.
Care Sector Alliance Cumbria attended along with:
Beacon Homecare, Thera North, Chrysalis, Carlisle and Eden Crossroads, Croftlands Trust, The Glenmore Trust, Priory Eden Grove School, West Cumbria Provider Forum, United Response and Trinity Health Care.
We had over 400 visitors and it proved to be an exhausting day for everyone involved! The stalls were very busy all day and many application packs were given out.
Jill Stannard, Director of Adult Social Care opened the event and the seminar programme was well received in the afternoon.
Feedback from visitors was very positive.
