Your social care records - Are they safe?

Keeping records is an important part of our everyday work. We take the responsibility of keeping records very seriously and we take extra care that information given in confidence is kept securely.   

There are occasions when we have to share information with others, for example your doctor, nurse or an organisation providing services to you on our behalf. As required by the Data Protection Act 1998, where information has to be shared, we take great care to ensure that only the minimum information necessary is disclosed. This information will be shared with your interests in mind.
