Home Care - Can I choose where my home care comes from?

If you get home care through Cumbria County Council Adult Social Care, you will not be entitled to choose who provides home care to you. However, if you choose to arrange your own care through Direct Payments or make your own arrangements independently of Cumbria County Council, you can then choose who provides home care to you.
