Telecare Supplier Day

Cumbria County Council is developing its Assistive Technology services and as part of this work will engage with a new Telecare procurement process. 

A Telecare Supplier Engagement Day took place on 4 October 2010 to inform this process although it was not part of the Procurement process itself.

The morning session looked at plans for future Telecare provision.  In the afternoon, four workshops considered a range of options including:

• the current pricing structure,
• any unhelpful restrictions which providers could see and which they wanted to make us aware of and
• feedback on the plans for future Telecare provision.
