Specialist Advisory Teaching Service Events

The Specialist Advisory Teaching Service work with pupils who have special or additional educational needs and their teachers to ensure the needs of their pupils are met within school.

On the 23rd November, 11 MILLION Takeover Day, the 60 members of staff from the Specialist Advisory Teaching Service asked every adult, young person or child that they worked with ’What could I have done better for you today?’.

The responses are being collated and given serious consideration as to how the Specialist Advisory Teaching Service can be improved. Once the work has been completed and the recommendations have been implemented the team plan to circulate a flier to colleagues, schools, settings and homes to highlight how they have listened to what their service users and what as a result of their feedback, has changed to their service.
