The pieces below were produced in a dressmaking class held at Ormsgill CDC in Barrow-in-Furness. There are two weekly classes - Wednesday evenings from 6.30-9.00pm and Thursday mornings from 9.30-12.00noon.
The classes aim to teach learners how to design and sew their own garments and are taken by experienced dressmaking tutor Jenny Le Roy, who is on hand to offer advice and support to learners with their chosen garment. Classes are friendly and informal and learners of all levels and experience are invited to join, from absolute beginners through to experienced dressmakers. Please contact the centre for further details.
