Family Learning

Picture of Father and Daughter

Family Learning is as varied as families themselves, for many families involved in Family Learning it is the beginning of a learning journey. There is nothing parents and carers enjoy so much as being asked impossible questions by their children – especially when those questions involve difficult problems in mathematics or the capital cities of unheard countries!

Family Learning is about discovering new things together: activities can be as varied as the families taking part. Children love to see their parents or carers tackling something new and making mistakes along the way. They are also amazed to discover that their grandparents and older members of the community have lived through historical events that they have studied at school!
