Children`s Trust Board

The Children’s Trust Board (CTB) set out its joint strategic priorities on 15 June 2011. At the heart of its priorities the CTB aims to improve children’s life chances, encourage responsibility, provide support for the most vulnerable and promote joint delivery across agencies.

Through its three District Delivery Groups (DDG), the CTB has placed a stronger focus on delivering services as close to the family as possible by empowering local partners, ensuring that local needs can be recognised and acted upon and developing strong local accountability frameworks.

Key partners will co-operate effectively on the ground to improve the well-being of children and young people and promote effective integrated working across agencies in Cumbria.

The CTB and DDGs will take account of all relevant and agreed single agency strategies.
