Learning Support Service provides a range of services to schools and young people and is made up of the following: Cumbria Outdoors (Outdoor Education Service), Cumbria Music Service, Learning Support Schools (professional staffing agency for qualified teaching assistants and teachers working with children and young people with additional needs) and Team Teach (training programme for positive handling, support and intervention).

An individual may need support to realise the extent of their potential. We provide a range of opportunities and support to transform the potential into achievement.

Service members too have potential: to develop knowledge, skills and competences. They too need access to opportunities to develop, to be the best that they can be.

So realising that potential is in two parts,
