In supporting the Children’s Service Vision, LSS has a role to play, encapsulated in the above phrase.
The children and young people we work with have potential to be ‘the best they can be’.
An individual may need support to realise the extent of their potential. We provide a range of opportunities and support to transform the potential into achievement.
Service members too have potential: to develop knowledge, skills and competences. They too need access to opportunities to develop, to be the best that they can be.
So realising that potential is in two parts,
- Realise you have the potential to grow and develop
- Turn the potential into achievement.
