This review is a new and bold approach. We have made sure that all of our partners in education and children and young people’s services are involved. The partners are working together to study a wide range of information, and will try to come up with some options to improve the education in an area.
The options for an area will go to the County Council’s Cabinet, who decide which of those options should go to public consultation.
During the public consultation stage there will be meetings in schools, public meetings and drop-in sessions, as well as information in the local press. We will want to hear everyone’s ideas and views on the options for their area. We want to grasp this unique opportunity to reshape and develop education and linked services. We also want the eventual solution to be influenced by, and meet the needs of, the community.
