What do I need to do before I apply for a place?

Before you apply please read the “Starting School from September 2012 - Entry to the Reception Year Group” booklet carefully before making an application. The booklet is available online below. The booklet contains important information about the application and allocation process.

If you are not resident in Cumbria you must make your application to the local authority where you live.

Complete the online application form using the ‘Apply online’ link or

Download and complete the paper version of the common application form [SA1] and return it to your preferred school. The SA1 Form is available online below.
