Local Performance Measures

Performance information at a county level has been available for quite some time, but in order to improve working at a local level, performance information about services needs to be calculated to a more local level. This information is the foundation of a dialogue with communities which can improve Council performance and encourage local communities to understand how they can increase their influence on services in areas where they live. 

Through improved information we can more effectively target our actions to improve local well-being. This approach should in turn increase trust with local people because decisions can be more clearly explained. A key part of this work is to provide councillors with improved local information to support their community leadership role and effectively serve their communities.

The following reports have been distributed to Local Area Committees, so councillors have been made aware of how services are delivering within their districts, electoral divisions and wards.
