Children painting at a 'Day with a Difference' workshop

We provide a confidential advocacy service to members of the Black & Minority Ethnic community across Cumbria, with outreach facilities in Barrow, Maryport and Penrith, and further facilities planned. We work with other organisations and partners to provide a warm and friendly confidential service to all clients.

Our staff are trained to Citizen Advice Bureau standard and are able to put you in touch with a variety of organisations depending on your circumstances and needs.   We have male and female staff, who all have a wide variety of experience in supporting individuals and families from the Black & Minority Ethnic community.
