There are opportunities to volunteer with our service, in any of the outreach facilites in Barrow, Penrith or Maryport, with administration work, or acting as a buddy to members of the Black & Minority Ethnic Community.
We are always looking for people who can offer time to help people undertaking ESOL classes (English for Speakers of Other Languages). Any time you can spare to support a student, simply by speaking conversational English, would be gratefully received and could prove extremely rewarding for you.
It is a good opportunity to learn more of other people’s cultures, and to be become involved with the community.
