Local committees in Cumbria

There are 6 county council local committees in Cumbria. One within each of the district or borough council boundaries. 

The local committees consist of County Councillors whose divisions lie within the committee's area. In some areas, representatives from district and parish councils also sit as members of the local committee.

Local Committee’s encourage public participation. You may ask a question, present a petition, or lead a deputation about any of the matters for which the Local Committee is responsible.
