direct link to the free viewer download areas on relevant manufacturer's
websites*.
We do not provide free viewer downloads directly
from this page because:
- The range of free viewers now available is
extensive and continues to grow;
- New versions appear frequently;
- The variety of desktop operating systems in use
is best supported directly from the manufacturer's website;
- Some free viewers require you to register before
performing the download.
Before performing any of the downloads provided by
the websites listed below, please note the following:
- Most downloads are large (1Mb or more) and will
take a considerable time to download over a dial-up link;
- Some downloads can be found on the cover discs
included with some PC magazines;
- Please read any advice offered by the
manufacturer before you perform the download, to ensure that you
have chosen the correct version and your desktop and/or operating system
are of a sufficiently high specification to run it;
