Two funds have been created to assist the people and communities affected by the killings of 2nd June 2010.
The Copeland Tragedy Fund and Cumbria Memorial Fund will work together to ensure appropriate support is provided to the families and communities affected.
The Copeland Tragedy Fund is an initiative developed by Reverend John Bannister, Rector of Whitehaven and the Cumbria Community Memorial Fund is being administered by Cumbria Community Foundation on behalf of the Coordination Recovery Group which brings together the local councils, Police and Health.
The Copeland Tragedy Fund will concentrate on the immediate needs of the affected people. The Memorial Fund will also respond to immediate need and longer term recovery.
Donations to both funds will result in the delivery of timely support to the people affected.
