Teenagers

We have more for teenagers for both study and fun than you might expect.

All our libraries have computers with internet access and under 19's are entitled to 1 hour free use every day. They can be used for game playing, downloading music as well as for study and homework queries.

In larger branches you will find designated areas for teenagers where there are spaces to sit and chat or read. Some also have listening posts and drinks machines.

The books in the teenage areas range from GCSE study guides and careers information to graphic and manga novels.

As well as books we have DVDs, CDs, and playstation games for hire. Amongst these are the Music Share range of CD's, with music written and performed by local groups.
