Grants Budget

This Forum has a remaining main budget of £2,641.25. Grants are jointly funded by Cumbria County Council and Copeland Borough Council. 

Grants Awarded in July 2010 were:

£150 to Copeland Amateur Swimming Club as part of a multi application towards the cost to replace the timing system, blocks, touch pads and scoreboard.   

£600 to Beckermet Reading Rooms towards the cost of a new floor for the large room to complete the final part of the Rooms' refurbishment.  

Grants Awarded in November 2010: 

£150 to Gosforth & Wasdale Fairtrade Group to print a revised version of the Gosforth & Wasdale Fairtrade local produce directory. 

£661 to Gosforth Playing Fields Committee to purchase a piece of new play equipment as part of the redevelopment of Gosforth Play Area.  

£1,250 to Ennerdale & Kinniside Parish Council towards purchasing and installing 40mph speed limit signs along Cold Fell Road.
