7/12/2005 - Harraby Green Flood Defence scheme talks at forum

Residents in the Harraby area will be able to hear from the Environment Agency (EA) about flood defences for Harraby Green at the next neighbourhood forum.

Gary Jones - Wright from the EA will be at the meeting to discuss the issue and answer any questions. 

Other issues on the agenda include: 

1.  Sure Start Parents film 
2.  Police Matters 
3.  Grants 
4.  Other local issues 

Local county councillor Mike Richardson said: 

"I always encourage people to come along the these neighbourhood forum meetings as they address issues that affect and matter to them most.  We have a representative from the Environment Agency coming along to discuss flood defences at Harraby Green as well as many other hot topics that will be of interest to residents I'm sure.  I hope people take the time to come along on Monday."

The forum will meet at the Pinegrove Hotel on London Road at 6.30pm on Monday 12th December.
