24/1/2005 - Morton Neighbourhood Forum and TRAMP join forces to address local issues

On Tuesday 25th January, Morton Neighbourhood Forum and TRAMP are joining forces to address some of the local issues and concerns for the area. The meeting is open to all residents and will be held at Morton Community Centre at 7pm.

The Law Centre will be speaking at the meeting to provide information and advice on any problems residents wish to share. Forum grants and police matters will also be on the agenda.

County councillor Peter Farmer, chairman of the neighbourhood forum said:

"Neighbourhood forums focus on issues that are at the heart of the local community. We are here to look into any issue or concern that anyone may have. We regularly join the forum meetings with TRAMP meetings so anyone living or working in the Morton area can come along and talk about any local issue. It's an ideal way for residents to have their say and meet their local councillor and development workers."

Anyone interested in applying for a grant through the forum can contact Carlisle Area Support team on 01228 606474 for an application form.
