22/11/2005 - Copeland Homes visit South Whitehaven Neighbourhood Forum

Cumbria County Council's South Whitehaven Neighbourhood Forum will welcome Copeland Homes Housing Association to their meeting on Wednesday 30th November. The meeting takes place at 7.00pm in Greenbank Community Centre.

Residents are invited along to hear from Copeland Homes' Richard Lowthian and Maria Toman who will talk about their investment programme and the opportunities it will provide in and around Whitehaven. The meeting will also feature an update on the latest developments at the Greenbank Community Centre.

The Neigbourhood Forum is an ideal opportunity for residents to raise any other concerns that they have. Forum grants will be considered to fund a number of projects in the area.

County councillor Joe McAllister chairman of the forum says:

"The Neighbourhood Forum meetings are a wonderful platform for local residents to have their say on the issues that affect them and raise any concerns that they have. I hope people can make it along to the meeting on Wednesday."

Anyone wanting to know more about the forum or apply for a grant should contact the county council's area support team for Copeland on 01946 855022.
