Wigton Methodist Hall is the venue for the next Wigton and District Neighbourhood Forum on Monday 12 May, at 7:00pm.
The meeting gets underway with a chance for people to learn more about the planned changes at the town’s Market Hall.
There will then be presentation by Brian Kirkbride on the consultation arrangements for the North Allerdale Action Plan 2008/13.
Fiona Wasteney from the Wigton Adult Education Centre will also, in the run up to Adult Learners' Week, to talk about some of the services provided by the centre.
Police Head Cameras will be discussed, with a talk by Chris Blain on how they work and the role they play in helping to create safer communities
There will then be a chance for people to learn how children will be taking charge at the Neighbourhood Forum’s June meeting.
Feedback on issues raised at previous Forums will also be given alongside an opportunity to listen to representatives from local groups applying for a grant, to share or publicise any local information and raise any other issues.
