Green-fingered Carlisle residents are being invited to stock up on their bedding plants and hanging baskets at Cumbria County Council’s Garden Linx annual spring sale.
The picture shows Christopher Ross putting the finishing touches to some of the bedding plants he and his fellow gardeners have helped to produce for the sale.
The Garden Linx project, which is run by the county council’s Adult Social Care directorate, is located on Richardson Street, Carlisle.
The spring sale takes place on Saturday 10 May, from 8:00am to 2:00pm and on Saturday 17 May, from 8:00am to 12:00noon.
