The Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) at Ulverston will be closed all day on Monday September 1 and possibly on Tuesday September 02 so that tree felling work can take place around the site.
Network Rail will be carrying out the work to fell some trees identified as a potential hazard to the HWRC and to prune branches of trees that overhang the site.
The HWRC will be closed all day on the Monday for health and safety reasons and may be either closed again on the Tuesday or only partially open, with cordoned off areas to prevent any risk to the public and site staff.
