Cumbria County Council is to hold an embargoed media briefing in Barrow tomorrow (February 5th) to present the results of the Audit Commission's 2007 Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA). CPA is the Government's way of gauging how well a local authority is serving the public through a 0-4 star rating system
The overall CPA star-rating incorporates a range of assessments across the council. As well as the overall star-rating, the media briefing will also reveal how the council has been assessed in the fields of Culture and Environment.
The briefing will be held tomorrow at 9.30am at the Abbey House Hotel, Abbey Road, Barrow in Furness LA13 0PA. The Leader of the Council, Deputy Leader, Chief Executive and Corporate Directors will all be involved in presenting the findings. Please confirm attendance.
