People at the Lakes Neighbourhood Forum on March 17th will be shown the results of the feasibility study and hear ideas for the future of Waterhead at Ambleside.
The feasibility study looked at the whole area, the functions it serves and ways to improve it for the benefit of all. Town centres manager Paul Holdsworth will be on-hand to discuss the ideas.
The forum will also hear details of the forthcoming switchover from an analogue to a digital TV signal for people in the Lakes area. People will be told about when the switchover will happen and what they need to do in order to be ready for it.
There will also be mention of local community projects and work including the Lakes Parish Plan, national park work, an update from the police and a discussion about Grasmere parking restrictions.
Finally, there will be the opportunity to share or publicise any local information and raise any other issues.
The forum is on Monday, 17th March, at 7.30pm in Grasmere Village Hall.
The Lakes Forum, which is a public meeting, serves the Lakes wards of Ambleside, Grasmere, Langdale, Rydal & Loughrigg and Troutbeck.
