Compost bin drumming from Cumbrian schoolchildren will be the highlight of Compost Awareness Week in the county.
The young drummers from South Walney Primary school will be doing their stuff in Barrow town centre close to McDonalds between 12.30pm to 1.30pm on Thursday, May 8th. Then, youngsters from St Patrick's School will be performing in Cleator Moor town centre, outside the library, between 11am and 12 noon on Friday, May 9th.
Making compost at home is easy to do and great for the environment. The 4th - 10th May is national Compost Awareness Week and it's a great time to find out all about compost.
The Resource Cumbria team will be out and about around the county letting people know how they can get their hands on a cut price compost bin and answering all kinds of compost questions.
