A Guide to Calculating Affordable Housing Prices

There are eight different planning authorities with responsibilities for providing
planning permission for new affordable housing in Cumbria (Barrow do not have any
specific policies regarding this). Each authority has its own method of calculating
affordable housing prices to enable these to be affordable to initial and subsequent
purchasers in perpetuity. These are summarised in the link given below. This document should only
be used as an indicative guide.
