There is one near you!

We have developed an interactive map of the rights of way in Cumbria, for you to search on. We welcome feedback about the GIS web-based map, in order to help us develop this facility in future.

  • By using the 'i' information tool you can find out more information about a specific route - for instance, any route changes since 1976.
  • There is a ruler tool so that you can measure lengths and distances.

A new version of the interactive map is now available. It combines the fuctionality of the previous versions of the basic and advanced maps.

If you find that when the map page opens no map is displayed, press the refresh button on you browser - the map will then display.

If ever you find that these maps are not loading for you, please use the Report a Problem button on the web page - we can often sort it out within the day - but we don't know the map isn't loading properly until somebody tells us!
